2.7 Conversion

Right why don't we get this sorted once and for all.

People who have done the the conversion please post on here what you used and the results.

Lets keep all the rubbish off and just have facts from people who have had the experience.

As much information as possible people and this will help us all understand the options.

i clicked 325i head - but - used 325i head on 325i block with eta crank - not eta block

i wud suggest that only euro ppl answer this, as the US cars differ somewhat.

its already been sorted by Argos or Maaasterbates in another thread.. he has gone done the math and put it to practice and it works fine

325i head on eta block for a cheap and potent 2.7..

I've used eta block with 325i pistons and 325i head, 284/272 shrick cam.

I've used an eta block (which is identical to 2.5 block) eta crank 325 pistons 1mm machined off the block to bring the pistons to the top, eta rods, 325 head, polished and ported, shrick 288 cam (wild) 6 branch fannymold and I've just ordered an E30 Zone 2.7 chip, the result, I'm clueless, it's still on my engine stand in the garage, fitting it next Tuesday!
This is my second go at this engine, the first one cracked the head shortly after running in! I've been researching this engine for about 4 years now so I hope i've cracked it this time.

I have 325e end I will put on hed of 323i , I think is the same as 320!
ECU is from 325i whit german alpina 2.7 chip, and throttel body, and i was told that this moidifications give aprox. 204 km
