I have now finished my M20 conversion on my 316i tourer but the engine which was fine in the previous car is only firing on 5 cylinders .

Cylinder 6 the one nearest the bulk head looks like its the offender, iv checked the spark and run it with the plug out to clear any flooding but is still wont fire(plug comes out black coated in petrol.)

Any one got any ideas? Sticking valve?

Any help will be gratley appriciated, this is the only thing stopping it being on the road!!

Cheers

Iv tried different plug different sets of leads so dont think its them, and the plug is wet with petrol so the injector must be workin.

dizzy is fairly new too so shouldnt be that.

Any other ideas?

It might not be working properly and over fueling ?

Can you swap them around to elimate it as a potential cause ?
