Im going to do the m30 conversion on my recent purchase from ebay.

Im going to use e32 735i & switchable box.

What mounts and engine position should i use ?

i'd suggest trying position 2.5 as a starting point. this will (just) fit in at the front and give you the maximum room at the back.

however.... from memory the E32 autobox is HUGE and you'll probably have to cut loads out of the transmission tunnel.

why not go manual?

its the same box used on the 325i

really? it looks a load bigger than the manual box.

yeah thats about right, that looks like a non switchable box.

should fit fine :D

that's ok then. the one i took out was massive compared to the manual box.

why go auto though? i'd be a lot happier with the control that a manual gives! :eek:

switchable sports auto, good for drifting.

and would mean converting my car to manual.

auto is good n lazy
