Considering Turbo - Parts needed Question:

Hi Guys

Would it be possible to get a list of parts needed, and recommended cars to get them from for a m20b25 turbo conversion please.

I am considering to do this but will have limited budget so would be trying to source most parts s/h.

I've tried searching through the other posts but could not find a defenitive list.

My target would be 300bhp

there are plenty of turbo threads ,no one can give you a list cos we all do things different,though you may see turbosetups popup now and then.



research is the key here -plenty of reading.
bimmerjim.com is another source
e30tech.com is good too.

Guess in the most basic form you'd need:

Exhaust manifold
Turbo
Down pipe
Charge plumbing
Intercooler (if you want 300bhp you'll need a lot of boost!)
Bigger injectors
And an Engine Management system capable of running the show.

Sounds simple put like that, but it's a whooooooole lot of work!
