Hi Guys
Am I right in saying you need an E28 535 radiator for a M30 conversion and should it be a direct fit cause mine will not fit in the space as these lugs for the previous rad mounts are in the way. Should I just grind them off or do I have the wrong Radiator? 93 L E30 316 and rad GSF supplied.

That looks like the right rad.
Yes, you have to grind one of the old lower mounts off.

Cool thanks Andy, Is yours just mounted by the top lugs or is it fastened at the bottom of the rad in anyway?

you will need to secure it at the bottom somehow or it can potentialy hit the front pulley as it will not be rigid just bolting at the top

I used the rubber mounts and speed clips from my (now unused) oil cooler to mount the top of my rad and heavy duty cable ties on the bottom. Fit perfect and looks neat.
