M30 positions?

Hi every one looking at engine mounts and wanted to know about position 1,2,3.
Can someone explain this for me?

sorry,

but Andy, have you photoshopped the alloys on your car in your sig pic, they look hoooge! Also never been a fan of louvres before but they look the nuts on there.

hi m8,i did indeed photoshop the wheels.mine are 17's but i am thinking of going with 18s so i thought id see how it would look.

The vents are metal ,not some dodgy plastic or fiberglass tat !
Just thought they'd look good and at the time i was thinking of turbo charging it so i thought they'd come in handy.Also the fact that someone poured thinners all over my roof and bonnet,the bonnet needed painting anyway so i thought it daft not to put them in then.Ended up not turboing in the end as i got a 3.2 evo engine for a decent price.Heres a pic of the bonnet up,BTW thats NOT me stud next to it ! Thats pete and dave,not members here anymore i dont think.

Hi I will keep you posted although its a long way off yet. just gettin parts i need and getting info on the conversion. got a 97 325i engine in the frame too so just priceing up which would be better.
