Cant seem to find an original e30 318is engine so can i build one from an e36 m42 and it will be the same as.
If this is possible what do i need to make it identical.
I have a m42 original engine in my 318is but i was to build another one.
Mainly as a learning curve and boredem!

They do spring up every know and then. The E30 M42 came with a stronger forged crank so more desirable.
