hello just wondering how easy this is to do really. i have a complete E34 535i which i can buy for next to nothing. I have read some of the topics on this and have a fair idea how much work is involed ie mounts wireing etc. just want to know if its a home job. i am good with engine work (done a few heads and gear boxes and other bits). any help would be welcome on parts and cost to.

Thanks for your time

you need:

m3prop, or custom,
custom exhaust,
mounts,
radiator,
cooling fan

depending on what position you wamt you will need mounts made up, speak to karan about thses as he can get some made up.

look on e30.de as there are some good articles on there for this conversion. its one of the easiest and cheapist conversions.

good luck with it.

if you have a hoist etc then yes it's a home job. a garage would help but i did a lot of the work on mine on the driveway/road

Had more time to look properly today. Loads of info! Just bought a E34 535i auto (boo) with mostly BMW history, only three owners. cheap as chips! (autobox broken). just gotta get manual box.

thanks for the help
