I would say main dealer definatly for the shells and prob oil pump although c3 or motech could probrably get the correct pump as well. Im sure the sump gasket could be aquired at euro,s or a few other places but there might not be much price difference. I have purchased the said parts but can,t find the recipt for the part numbers,all available on real oem though.

Pretty key ingredients there, I wouldn't mess about to save a few quid - just get them all from BMW.

I reccomend you get all gaskets and bearings for S50´s from the dealer, aftermarket "OEM" stuff usually doesn´t even fit right.
