e36 OBD1 wiring harness

how you indentify which year you have, I have a obd1 harness, not sure of which year I have in order to trouble shoot in the electronic manual.

The blank slots are 1, 2, 3, and 9.

I am doing a s52 OBD1 conversions. Thanks.

Why are you converting it? The Siemens ECU is much better

mroe horsepower with a obd1 setup, sticking with a 413 dme.

The Siemens can be mapped as much as the Bosch, in standard form the Bosch 413 will not run right at all and be a massive downgrade, if your going to have it mapped then fair enough but your just making work for yourself IMO

No idea, ive never looked at the labels before. As long as its from a vanos engine though they are pretty much all the same
