What is the spec on the 535 engine as i looking at putting a 3.5 into the e30 and want to no a few thing
1. what is the bhp
2. is it heaver than the normal 2.5
3. do i have to change engine mounts
4. will my gear box fit the 3.5

I would do a bit of searching around the forum mate as this query comes up quite often and I think Toby has got fed up of answering the same questions.
The M30 3.5 lump is about 218bhp I think and about 220ft/lb of torque
You need new engine mounts which are about Ԛ£120, need to see Karan about those, you need a different gearbox, M3 propshaft too and then a few other bits n pieces like cooling hoses etc

forgot to mention, I don't know what your car actually is at present, if it is a 4 pot then perhaps ECU and other wiring, but I am very vauge on this area, so best left to one of the experts on here to give you the full run down, or just search through the technical or modified threads
