Possibly might have to sell my sport, its costing me more than i can afford as i'am paying monthly for it to the mother, plus doing loads of miles everyweek and with current petrol rates its costing me more than i thought it would.

Thinking of using some of the money from it to throw at the touring. the shell is sound so looking at a lower respray but will miss the power.

how much would i be looking at for a 160-170bhp forced indution conversion to a 318i touring that looked oem. i'am not after massive power but something that zips along nicely. i would want to simply drop it off with someone and let them do it and be able to drive away.

Any ideas???

Ant?????

I think this kind of thing costs around £3000 at a garage.

Good engines to turbo, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Miss mine :(

Speak to fowler. He did one. Ant might be able to help also. Why not drop an IS engine in it. Livelier than the m40

well m40 turbo is a very good conversion a good 200-220 bhp reliably and i used to get up to 45mpg + on a run if you stayed off the boost think i may do another soon so keep an eye out for it.
I can say mine cost about £1.5K but i did mine was done as a favour from odds and sods in the workshop.....
i loved it and i often say that i should not of sold it

:D
