Looking for info on this turbo, I'v been told by it's current owner it was an Holset HX35 but you can clearly see it's not.
Is it an ebay knock off?

Not a holset, they usually have the name stamped where the numbers are on this one.

steve, if you want a turbo i know where there is a gen garret T4 & all the pipe work (no manifold) & intercooler for sale 
£200 for the turbo & around £100 for the rest of the bits
