m20 323 m20 325i differences.....

Apart from the bore and injectors is there anything different about the m20 323 and m20 325 engines? Do they use a different ECU? I cant seem to find out any information about the 323. I have the bentley manual (think its bentley, its not in front of me) and it covers the 318i, 318is, 325i, 325is 325ix etc but makes no mention of the 323 at any stage? I wasn't sure if there was a reason for this... Any light on the subject would be great.

-b23 use L-jetronic
-b25 use Motronic
-Ecu
-air flow meter
-engine harness
-cylinder head with camshaft and valves/valve springs
-intake- and exhaust manifold
-crankshaft
-connecting rods
-pistons
-cylinder block
-flywheel
-etc.

Motronic - distributor on end of camshaft
