E42 325 INTO MY E30 TOURER??

I have a 2001 325 ci at work and was considering trying a transplant. Am i being radiorental??

I've got the same engine from a 2000 525 sitting here for the same job.
I've already put an M50 tu into an E30 touring and the same physical fitting arrangements look like they will work. EWS system and electronic throttle will make the electrics fun, but not insurmountable if you've got the whole donor car .
