S38B36 and S38B38 I think. B36 is the 3.6, B38 is the 3.8.

Not easy or cheap to fit at all.

S38 (6-cyl), S62 (8-cyl) and S85 (10-cyl) are the M5 engines. All of them have been swapped to E30's many times. S62 is the hardest, S38 the easiest. Every swap is very expensive.

Yap, the electronics aren't the problem as Tino @ www.e30.de can do the flashing of ECU. But everything else is harder in V8 (mainly brake booster and exhaust manifolds), as with the others you can use original parts "bolt-on".

Tino uses the same guy I use for ECU reprogramming.

Okay, I thought it was Tino who was doing it. Well, anyways, have you researched the possibility to swap N62, N73 or S85 in E30 ? Or what about M54 or M57? :)

Lots of possibilites which are mostly limited by electronics..

If you are serious I can ask the question. But think there is nothing available at the moment due to lack of demand.
