Got my M50 in and its all ok but the car dont wanna slow down :(

Bled the brakes and they dont feel spongy but the car just takes time to stop.

Wondering if its just because the servo is smaller so its not so good. Got a MK1 golf GTI servo and thats about the biggest i can fit.

Any suggestions? Got disks all round and im sure it should be better than that!

Cheers.

The servo won't increase or decrease the power of the brakes, just the effort required to make them work.

IMO, the discs on these cars are way too small for the weight!

You can get big disc kits or 4pot brake conversions from Rally Design and the like :)

You recon thats what it is?

My temp car for the 2 weeks the e30 was off the road was a citroen BX and those brakes are basicaly locked up or off so it was a bit of a shock going back to the BMW.

Is there anything temp i can do? What about just grooved disks and better pads??

Anyone got a link or name for me to buy new brakes?

I want to keep my 4-stud alloys.
