which fuel pipes do i connect, am i right thinking the tanks in m40 cabs have 2 inlets or outlets?

Do you mean the fuel pipes that run up into the engine bay?

You should have 3 pipes that appear by the nearside chassis rail - 1 feed, 1 return and 1 breather. You only need to connect the feed and return, the breather (from the tank) just gets tucked into the nearside suspension turret to vent to air.

An M20 will run quite happily with the 'wrong' fuel tank. No need to touch the back end at all.

55 litre one, in the case of a 4 to 6 pot saloon conversion.
