I’ve searched this great forum, but with no luck ”“ I’ve done a swap of S38B36 to 86’320i,
and while testing , DIS reporting ”aroad speed signal error”a, conditions were rpm ~3200, and load 4,5ms, and as a result redline is 6500, and engine is running quite rich, and I feel that there is also a lack of power
As I read on the internet, the original dashboard from M5E34 converts the speed signal from the diff, and then sending it to DME .
I have ordered a chip from Mark D’Sylva without 250km/h limit ”“ I will have it in next week ”“ hope that may help

..so it confirms that such problem exists.
Any ideas how to solve it?
