crank info, help needed.

hey guys, today i got a crank that supposedly belongs to a m52b28.

from what i can see it only reads:

BMW NC38 1432277 E M X1 (its not actually an X, the 2 upper points are joined).

i googled for those bits, also in real oem, and nothing ...

any ideas.

i just want to confirm its a m52b28 crank.

Measure it, 2.8 stroke is 84mm, so you should have 42mm from the centre of the main bearing to the centre of the big end
Ive never noticed any identifying marks on 24v cranks
