right is it me or is the engine sitting a bit far forward the back of the heads about 2.5 inchs away from the baulkhead do i need to move the gearbox back more if so wat mounts do i use ?
im goin to be using an is box and am just sourceing a m20 2.5 prop and 2.0 gear linkage as i belive this is correct ?

The gearbox mounts to the body are in slots! Take the prop and gear shift linkage off, get the engine sitting on its mounts, with the gearbox slid back, then sort the prop and gearshift out afterwards.

If those are E36 engine mounts the sump will be very close to the steering rack, E34 M50 mounts at least should be used

ah havent even looked at the gearbox body mounts to see that ther slooted that should solve all problems the mounting arms are e36 arms and im just waiting on e28 rubbers too turn up from the home country :)
