As I said, I´d suggest VEMS as it´s got internal wideband control, internal map sensor of your choice. internal ignition drivers. Works with all the original sensors. Minimal wiring needed(cut a few wires, put on some pins).
I personally have seen too many megasquirt systems fail because of in-adequate ecu assembly, wiring and ecu configurations by their owners or tuners.
It´s development speed is picking up again(finally) and alot of impressive things are being put into the Vemstune software (auto tune from datalogs, host of security features, graphical representation of config changes and alot more).

Well, i am a MS fan, just ordered my 2nd kit, yes its tricky if its your first time electronics build but assembled kits are available and the forum support is superb. MS1 with extra s/w on a V3 board is a very good deal.
My kit (MS2 V3) was £190 delivered and this one i a going to build direcly into an old Motronic case.

you can get the wideband sensor from me,
It´s probably the cheapest place to get one.
