i know mine struggled at 263bhp. you could feel it holding back at high revs. a walbro escort cosworth pump was the job at £100 and a direct replacement for the e30 pump and was good for up to 500 bhp allegedly.

I have seen a stock pump squeeze a tad over 300hp.
but it´s very pressure based as well.

300hp @ 3bar pressure may not and very likely not mean 300hp for a car running 1bar boost, so 4bar pressure.
With great challenges comes great engineering.

Think mine will be running 14-16psi and hopefully will be making 280-300bhp so if one comes up cheap on ebay, i'll probaly invest :D
there seams to be alot of 255lph ones on there listed as e30 325 replacement ones

I think I have a spare walbro pump in the back of the garage. If I remember I'll have a look in the morning and dig it out before I go to bed. :D

theres quite a few different cars that use the same pump, nissan 200 lists the same walbro pump as the cosworth and the e30.
