i need a set of custom forged pistons for my build. and i need to know if i can raise the piston pin enough.
the setup would be:
m52b28 crank
m54b30 rods (got them off really cheap
)731 head
with a 0,2" MLS gasket
block will be bored to 84mm, and i want to keep the CR at 8.5:1 for a turbo build.
my worry is that the dish on piston to lower the CR + raising the pin will result in a fragile piston.
i know i could use my 130mm rods, but i want to have a good rod/stroke ratio.
any advice?
