Hey guys I'm currently buildin a m20 325i block to turbo it usein standard internals arp head studs m/s standalone etc etc since I haven't put the pistons bk in yet I was wondering if any 1 knows of any other pistons which would be abit stronger than the cast m20 ones ?
I know the m50 m52 pistons will fit but are they stronger ? Will they take more boost?
How much max could I run the standard pistons? 8 to 10 psi?
I've heard so much that they will take this they will take that but then I've also heard the opposite that they won't take as much as I would like I'm only lookin at about a bar or boost and not going for out and out power but would just like to know if I did wind the boost up just wanna feel confident that the pistons will take it ?

Any info would be great
thanks guys

Not sure what spec they are but there is a set of low comp pistons for a turbo M20 in the for sale section.

8.8:1 compression can run at least 350hp with ARP and stock head gasket.

Stock pistons can run to 500hp for absolute sure.
With great challenges comes great engineering.
