I need some advice due to the head gasket going in my 325i, i was thinking about taking the car of the road for a few months and hopefully fitting a 4.0 v8. Im a mechanic for a living but i would have no idea on what's bits i needed etc.
Anyone got any advice?

Oh, sure it fits:

It's far from plug'n'play swap, though. There're few project topics going on so use search ;)

I have done this once, and I know of quite a few other E30 with V8s.
Easy enough if you know what you are doing. Several ways to get the challenges regarding engine mounts, exhaust and brake booster working.
How do plan the end result to be?
Race car? Daily driver? Show winner?

A fantastic combination by the way!!!
