i,m looking to convert my 323 auto coupe into a 2.5 manual. which conversion do you think i should go for? is there a lot of diifference in the work that is involed?

323i M20 to 325i M20 is straightforward,externaly both engines are the same.
You would benifit by using the later motronic engine management system.
M50 is not quite as easy,you will need to study the M50 thread at the head of this section.
Main problems to overcome are matching the engine loom to the car loom and sorting an exhaust manifold.
Have a hunt through the photo gallery for my build thread called 'Daimlerman's Folly',and Beemerlad's current thread in the photo section is worth reading as well...
