I am currently putting together a 2.7 engine for my tech 1 and was wondering if it was worth changing the injectors. I hear that m50 2.0 items are a good upgrade? Does any one have any experience of this on a b25/27? Are they straight swaps?
I am planning to use facelift management on the engine if that makes a difference.

Cheers,

Max

Nice, did you notice any improvements from those injectors? Or were all those mods carried out at the same time?
Take it i'd be ok with the standard ecu, chipped for a 2.7 obviously?

I am also interested in this, would like to refine my M20 B25 and reduce injector tick if possible.

i had them in before i did the mods, may have been a placebo but i'm sure i got 5-10 more miles out of £20 petrol, and felt smoother,

they have the same flow rate as the m20b25 but have 4 holes in the end, instead of 1 so atomises the fuel better inturn runs more efficiently

I guess the short answer is no.

Standard 2.5 M20 injectors are fine for a 2.7.
