Location of serial no. on S50 engine block?

Hi,

Does anyone know the location of the engine serial number on a S50B30 engine block? I bought this engine from the UK and need the serial no. to register the engine locally (Thailand.) Unfortunately the seller didn't know where it is either.

on the b32, it's half way along the block, inlet side,
at the base of the block, just above the mating face where it meets the sump.

Thanks Glenn for your pointer. I finally found it! It's located on the intake side, right next to engine mount arm. It's hard to notice because there're a couple tubes blocking the number out of sight. I swear I looked there several times already.
