I am going to build a supercharged m50 with s50 b30 crank rods and pistons , I will be using a eaton m90 and I am wondering if I should put the throttle before or after the s/c , also wondering if ITBs would be a waste with the forced induction.
Also i will be fitting m20 flywheel , what clutch would all you
turdo m20 lads recomend , I am hoping for a lot of torque so will need a good clutch.
If I place the throttle after the s/c will it make it very noisy ?

Put the throttle before the charger, on a positive displacement charger like an eaton its a pain to have it after, dump valves and snappy respose as the valves slam shut when the throttle opens.
Look at oem set ups, there all before for a reason, smoothness and quiteness if there real words

I ran mine with out and then with a recirc bailey dump valve between the charger inlet and outlet after a few books suggested it was a good idea to run one, i thought it might dealy throttle response so didnt fit one to start with.
It did'nt realy dealy it anymore and was a bit quiter on overrun and part throttle, slightly better mpg but nothing major over not running it.
