this weekend 325rick and me did my engine swap :D

i've got a 325, so we swapped a m20 b25 to an m20 b25 winkeye . he he.

seriously though the old engine's bigends were on the way out, and i thought instead of pulling it to bits i thought it would be easier and less expensive to buy a whole engine.

so i got a high comp b25 and stuck in a 272/272 schrick cam, got my flywheel lightened, i bought a bbtb (from alpina527) and a hottuning six branch manifold.

i got to work on cleaning the engine, gave a few bits a lick of paint, fitted the other bits then waited for a day that wouldn't stop raining to swap engines

i'm just waiting on a chip to go with the mods done then i will get dyno'd.

here are some pics, i will try to put some comments in for clarity

this one is suchy holding the engine i just got back

That pic of Suchy is scary... He looks like he's rather excited about your engine.
Has he sabotaged it maybe, so you don't beat him in a race? winkeye
Looks great. Good work.
Currently slumming it in an E46 Touring

+1 to Rick also, top bloke. Yeah bright paint innit!! AND fitted and running!! It looks like Rob (HKF) has actually done something properly for once!! winkeye don't you just love the complete councilness of the makeshift gazebo- so fitting
Does seem to go rather well also, should be 'interesting' with the correct chip :D
