where do you guys fit an oil pressure sensor on your S50's?
and by the looks of it I am missing the connectors for the oil cooler on my S50 engine. Are these BMW parts and available seperately?

Uwe.
I have the BMW oil cooler takeoffs on my engine (I'll post some pictures for you later). I cut the crimped ends off and fitted an oil cooler with 5/8"s connectors and tubing. You can also get adaptors from Turner motorsport that have standard barbs on them for 1/2" tubing.
I also considered making a set of 'turner' copies myself by turning some brass or stainless barbs that fit into the BMW oil cooler housing. Again I'll get some pictures on later.
The BMW oil cooler pipes come as one assembly and aren;t much use to us E30 guys without modifying them, so you wouldn;t want to spend a fortune at the dealers replacing them!
As for an oil pressure sender, I intend to fit a VDO type sender (for my guages) onto the back of the S50 oil filter housing where the standard low pressure warning switch is (with a T piece so as to retain the STD warning sender). I am also going to replace the BMW oil temperature sender here for a VDO one. For the oil pressure switch I need to find out the switching pressure of the standard switch. There might be a VDO sender that operates at the same pressure (VDO senders have a variable output and a switched output for the light on the dash in OEM installations).
I'll look into it, unless you beat me to it and post the info up....

Thank guys, I haven't looked into the subject very much. Just collection information before I drop the engine in finally and would havea hard time fitting things.
By the looks of it I am missing a few more pips and hoses, will post more pictures after Easter.
