e36 325i coil packs

i've just been offerd a set of e36 325i coil packs & i was just wondering if it'd possible to convert an m20b25 from a dizzy to coil pack ignition?

or have i just got the wrong end of the stick & chasing shadow's?

any help & advise would be welcome.

just want to find out if it's possible & are there any improvments
it will make?

You won't be able to convert an M20 to run coil on plug, but I guess you could mount the coil packs off the engine, and use regular HT leads to connect to the plugs. E36 coil packs really don't lend themselves to this very well, and a 6 way coil pack from a V6 of something else would be a better option.

Unless you have other mods, it's not really going to give you any benefits, and you won't be a ble to use the standard ECU.
