presuming you mean e34 sport then yes,
it has been known to use the m20 loom on an m30!

It would depend, as some E34 535's have the electronic throttle which is no use for an E30 application.
If it has the normal cable type throttle body it will be fine.

I have looked but can't find any info for the life of me on that! Would love to use the m20 loom as it will save on much wanted cash.leeparkes wrote:presuming you mean e34 sport then yes,

I asked the person selling the m30 loom and he doesn't really know what to look for when I said about the electronic thottle. Pants really.

just get a M20 loom , you need to split the AFM and TPS wiring out of it a bit,. rest actually plugs in place.

no, the AFM and TPS are on the other side of the engine on a M30.
You need to get those wires over from the usualy M20 intake side to the M30 intake side.

i dont think i will need to do that as i am doing away with the AFM and having a 3bar map sensor and the charger will be going directly on the back side of the M30 inlet plenum along with the new throttle body. so everything will still be on the M20 intake side (unless i change my mind)
was going to have a Megasquirt fitted and mapped as well, could i still keep the M20 loom?
cheers
