350i, want a v12 in my e30, how easy?

Really want to put a v12 in my tourer, Is it a case of buy a 750i and start swapping?, what gearbox?, engine mounts, rad etc.

It's a lot of work dude, if you want to have a manual box then you're into silly money.

Easier than with V8.
Correct me if i'm wrong but if i've understood correctly, you can use stock motor mounts, hydraulic brake booster and stock exhaust manifolds so it's quite "plug'n'play"
Of course you'll have to fiddle with electronics a bit, driveshaft has to be shortened and probably you need to buy / fabricate radiator which goes under the E30 "locking panel" but no major problems.
If only V12 would be legal in E30 in Finland i'd done one already

Why are they illegal? I would so love a V12If only V12 would be legal in E30 in Finland i'd done one already

Displacement and power too big. Maximum power for E30 in Finland is 230hp and displacement 3,375 litres.
