I am thinking on converting a 316 with a 2BE carb on an M10 engine to fuel injection as used in the European version with Jetronix. This is to improve the bad reputation that the carb generally has. On mine it is behaving perfectly at the moment.
I have worked out what may be needed. Have I missed anything below on the parts I would need:
Inlet manifold with injectors and the pipework, idle valve, airfilter and MAF
Engine wiring harness
Fuel pump relay assembly
take the manual fuel pump out and install fuel pump in the tank and fuel filter and install extra fuel return pipe.
Jetronix ecu
I am not sure what the differences were between European 316i with M10 engines and the UK spec 318i with M10?
