Somewhere between £200 & £300 at a guess. Not seen what any have gone for recently though, & there might be more value in the box if anyone thinks they're particularly desirable! Have you got mounts & prop to sell too?

id say between £350-£450 if you have all thats needed to drop straight in an e30.

Think I paid £600 for my conversion kit. Came with absolutely everything you need engine, box, mounts, rad, pipes, exhaust manifolds and anything else I can't remember!

not sure mate, but i know it had a full rebuild before it was dropped into the e30leeparkes wrote:What year car did the engine come out of?
.. i'd be happy with £700 for the full conversion set up, that would include, everything to just drop in and go

Am I right in thinking the box is the Getrag 265 box that's used in E30 M3's ?

The reason i asked is because the earlier ones had less power!blingsta wrote:not sure mate, but i know it had a full rebuild before it was dropped into the e30leeparkes wrote:What year car did the engine come out of?

£600's about right for everything. More than that would depend on how many miles are on the engine, how new the rad is (& what rad it is) etc.
Just a thought, the engine isn't out of an E28 too is it?

something to do with valve sizes and compression ratio.

Good good. The main issue with the earlier engine is that it's physically more difficult to get one to fit in an E30 engine bay.
