Hi Guys,
Need some help regarding a 325 engine I have been offered from a pre facelift cabby.
I want to replace my 318i engine and upgrade it to a 325i, but as my 318i is a later model 1992 (facelift) - does it mater replacing it with an engine from a pre-facelift one?
How much should i be expecting for supply and fitting of the job?
What to watch out for and condition of the engine? It doesnt have LSD - Is that a bad thing? Could I add this?
Oil cooler? It doent seem to have one, should it?
Seeming I will be going ahead with the swap, what parts do I need to get the job done right, will i need to worry about the fuel tanks size (1.8 to 2.5)?
How can i tell if the jobs been done right, and the right parts have been replaced. Would i need to be there to look over his shoulder..not that I would know whats going on...
Please help? any links would be most helpful.
