So you want your M42 to go M3 faster.........how about turning your M42 into a 2.1 stroker turbo!

What you need is a BMW M47 diesel crank, con rods and race pistons.....oh and a turbo ....... OVER 200bhp and a lot lot more torque!

Ya i post on both as the US lads have done alot more with the m42 than us here in the Uk and theres quite a few knowledgable people over there.

An M42 turbo project is still nagging away at me. Once I get an M50 in, maybe I'll use my old motor as a basis, who knows?

And I expect a good 2.1 M42 turbo to be pushing over 300bhp.
