Well fozzy we have the super charged one and we have james's m20b2.5 turbo engine that he rebuilt before going down the m50 route. The plan is to put it into the luxor beige cabby. Hav the engine just need to get the turbo and intercooler and it'll be going in over the next couple of months hopefully ready for next summer.

Came with james'c custom manifold! will still have the spilt manifold off the cab. Should be really easy as its left hooker so no stering issues.
The M5 does still have the exhuast on it not got round to taking it off.
Richard had a day off i was working for a mate building a log cabin, but will be in tomorrow tinkering with the m50.

That manifold is a work of art! it'll do fine, need to keep housing size down as it's a side mount close to the wing, shouldn't be an issue, did you source injectors, oil feed, return and oil pan?

The M5 exhaust, do you have plans for it? I'm thinking the bore will be enough for your needs, just need to cut and shut it a little :D

There's also Appletree, with a supercharged iS.
He did have a MINI supercharger in it, but he's now on the second one...
Currently slumming it in an E46 Touring

No plans for the exhaust as yet was going to sell it but will prob keep hold of it now. The plan was to give it all to james and he was going to fit it for us. Haven't got a full shopping list off him yet so not sure what else we need yet.

Fitting a e28 back end so he has bigger driveshafts so he can run a bigger diff as he keeps destroying them. He broke a brand new 2.91 lsd we got, so we supplied a e36 328 sport diff which i think he broke aswell. If he's going to be running 600bhp which he's planning he'll need a stronger diff! He is mad theres nothing he's scared of doing. Like welding a front end on and banging the floor out after he rolled it.

We have a m535 lsd but it has no backing plate. The m5 still has its diff. Not sure on the ratio not been checked yet. Altho richard may have sold it already just not heard back from the potential buyer yet.

All models had a 25% LSD according to the Mpower lot, ratios vary tho.

Backing plate should be an easy find, I'm sure they're used on other e28's, have you checked the white one?

Have checked it with the white one, its only a little 520 se it has a medium case. Had a e28 528 diff but that didint fit either. This diff is huge a normal e28 back plate isn't even close to fitting it hits the gears!

Must be a large case diff then, you'll need to mod the carrier quite a bit but I'm sure you have the spares laying about to make it quite straight forward. I thought white one was 528i

Its soon to be a 528i, with the help of a m52 out of the 328 sport we broke awhile back. We hve the box and the prop still so a little tinker and it should be running. Wont be a prob fitting the engine as there is masses of room.
