m30 3.5 conversion for me so far has been as follows:-
Donar car £900
Polybushes supplied and fitted £500
Labour for conversion £500
Bits and pieces £100

Total is £2000, but should claw some of that back by fragging the donar car, such as the lsd, leathers, lights etc.
As for the rest, i'm sure who evers done that will fill you in. HTH

If you Got "Haters",Then your doing something Right!

Hmmh, m30 is the best option considering price vs. hp/torque.

Turboing is anything from 1k€ -->, only the sky is limit with those.

With 2.8 you mean M50? That's quite expensive engine to buy, easily double the price of good M30 engine. Fitting is easier, though.

"Crank and head to M20", means that you've to change all the parts in that engine also, so it's not very cheap and doesn't really give you much power.

I recommend M30 or M50, M30 has more grunt whereas M50 is more civilized.

With great challenges comes great engineering.

This is what a couple of us have already spent on turbo conversions

Neither of us have finished yet

This could give you an idea as to what it can cost
