WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST WAY TO GET MORE POWER FROM A M44 1.9 IS ENGINE?

AND HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST

best is you say how much power you want,

best way would be to spend about 25k and get about 800hp
With great challenges comes great engineering.

well not that much

im looking for everyday car as well

so just a bit more power
something round the 200 mark

M44s and M42s are pretty costly if you're going for big power. There are lots of possibilities though, lumpy cams, throttle bodies, turbos, superchargers, re-stroking. Depends what you want it to drive like and how much you have to spend though!
Not in E30s any more :(
