which is the best one to use for a 1.8 on carbs?
i have one from a 518 one from an e12 and the other one i think is from a 518 as well :o:

They will be much the same, but may have different dizzy drive threads, early/late M10 dizzys rotate in opposite directions. Presumably you are fitting a cam into an e30 head, so I suspect the E12 cam won't do the trick. I can't remember which way they spin though, check the catcams website, I think they had some info about it.

I have an e30 316 head sat in my workshop which is surplus to requirements at the mo, has a cam in it which looks OK. Plus I have a catcams 284 which I'll probably keep. If you want the e30 head/cam PM me.

i've go 3 cams at the min but have noticed that the 2002 had a 300 deg sports cam available
