Well,,, Ive been hard at it, car on axle stands and all my spare time spent underneath it !!

Anyway.. The prop is all sorted and bolted up, which just left the manifold and exhaust for me to get on with, to start off with, i cut the flange off the front mani and rotated it by 90 degrees, then got my good mate Hass to weld it back up for me! i didnt bother with pics as im hard at it!! so the manifolds now bolt on nicely and clear the steering knuckle, but only by millimeteres!!!

So im now patiently waiting for my alliminium guibo to arrive from Neil which would hopefully give it sufficient clearance..

I also got two downpipes from a E34 535 which were chopped just before the first box and thought i would give them a play with!, well guess what? they fit perfectly!!!! winkeye no clearance issues whatsoever! like it was made to be!, they line up perfectly.

so next step for me 2moro is going to be to top up the water and finish fitting the leccy fan, then im gonna start her up (if the neighbours not at home) and make sure she runs to temp and bleed etc

will keep you updated! :D

Why cut the flanges, when all you have to do is heat them up an rotate them, as i did? winkeye
