I would say Ant regardless since everything I read about him is good which is always a good thing.

yeah what a coincidence! You only hear the good stuff cos all the negative stuff gets either taken off(deleted) or kept hush hush. After all he is one of the mods, how would that look, if a mod/mechanic is getting a bad reputation on here winkeye

unfortunatly after talking to a fellow e30 nut, im coming away from the idea of forced induction for the time being, he has just converted his to a 2.7 and its an animal. think thats the way im going to go for now and once i get used to it (and have the money) i'll move onto forced induction

for the record, no post of the negative variety have EVER been removed form this site by me or any of the other admins, nor shall that ever be the case.

if you have an issue Shak, come see me dude, I'll even pay for your fuel

A-Tech exists outside of the zone, professionally and emotionally. The fact that I have been an admin on here for longer than the venture has existed should speak volumes.

Bare in mind that a "proper" high comp 2.7 wont take kindly to forced induction. So your plan of 2.7 then charge it wont be simple.

If you need a good 2.7 built Ant is you man also 8)
He built mine and its awesome.

I'm further from Ant than Derbyshire, but I'd still take it there.

Man I know Ant now for over a year and I can tell you that ive met loads of bullshitters here and he most definately isnt one.
The guy will go out of his way to help you and even if he cant get the vehicle in asap he will advise you on what to do which according to my understanding of many tuners is rather contrary as they would force you to book in the vehicle just to make a quick buck.

I would deal with A tech with confidence. :D

Just my 2p worth for anyone wishing to take work down to Ant on his farside of the UK.

Ant is a legend. He built a great 2.7 for me also. Brilliant customer service, always answered any query I had, no matter how stupid. Top man!

I would go to Ant aswell mate...serisouly! I have now done a 120 mile round trip twice just to go down and have a cup of tea and a chat!

Ants full of advise, can answer any questions and really knows what hes doing. We have discussed so much on whats going on with mine and Ant has steered the project in the right direction. I wouldnt take it anywhere else

Just post your questions on this forum, plenty of people with good response that have done their own forced induction projects.
With great challenges comes great engineering.
