If the weather is kind, then hopefully the touring may see the M50 lump going in this weekend.

I haven't got my fancy stainless manifold back from the dude which is making it yet, so my question is, do you usually always bolt the manifold up after you have the engine in or do folks usually have the whole lot bolted on before dropping the lump in?

I would bolt it up after you have got the engine is in the bay, you dont know how well it will fit yet or how close to the body it will be etc, its a bit awkward but if you have some decent sockets and oil the studs up well its easily done.

one final question, related, i got E36 M50 rubber mounts, they are OK aren't they?
