Now I have heard SO many different stories, but what I would like to know is can they be reground sucessfully? or once they have wear are they a throw away Job?

I can only imagine it's a matter of getting hold of oversize bearings... I mean how hard can it be to re-grind the S50 crank compared to any others? If they are tufftrided, anodized or hardened the same proccess could be applied anyway so I can't see why not?

I heard that they were case hardened(?) and once you go through that the metal is very soft
