Hiya im seriously considering converting my 325 m20 to turbo but i want to know how much boost my engine will take and ecu will be able to control im willing to go full hog with new pistons and rods but if bmw over engerned the engine and it will cope with alot of boost it would save me money im also guessing i would need to use a compression plate to lower my compression aswell

i just wanna know how much bhp i can push before i have to change pistons and rods and will i need to have the ecu mapped or chipped?

cheers

best speak to ant regarding your needs.. my 325 is boosted at 7psi as a standard engine with no need for any mods what so ever, not even the decomp plate.... the main things you need to make this work is a standalone ecu which would get rid of your afm, turbo manifold, bigger injectors.. and other niggly bits n bobs... :D

Ant also sells a custom made supercharger - can be done without mods to the internals I think.

If these don´t explain things a lot more then you need to read them a few more times.
