Well not done much lately as mainly waiting for some major bits to be done but I've started on the intercooler and pipe work
And fitted a few sensors and vacuum pipes
I thought I'd still use the bmw sensors
So I got some npt unions for the engine and re drilled and tapped them for the sensors

Painted the slam panel and cut out the dents where the engine fell on it

And made a new slam panel

For boost pipe

Also got round to fitting the coil packs , I had to buy new 90 degree end and boots to suit the coil pack so thats what I've been doing tonight

That's about it for now wheels should be back from polishing in a week or so, ecu should be back next week, loom will be made next week a couple more bits to get done and were nearly there
Last Little push now

Well there shiney

Tyres on

Well you can tell due to the engine bay being pretty cramped I'm not going to get away with air filters so I'm just gonna run gauze over the turbo, gives you an idea

When I bought they they were supposed to be polished but they came as blue anodised rattle can sprayed silver which my niece could have done a better job half of it was scratched with huge runs down the inside
Weren't going to have that so I emailed them it's been a week now but they ain't replied tossers
So I thought I'll make them look better so I stripped of most of the silver paint got the blue off and spun them up to smooth them out

And what I finished with

Finished product

Still waiting for the loom hopefully next week and it's all ready to get it up and running fingers crossed

Good work. Lovely rims - they remind me of the Borranis you got on classic Ferraris, etc.

Have you had to roll/flare the rear arches to cover the tyre then? Centre caps have come out really we too!

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

Hey guys bk again, as this thread has gone alittle cold since last update the car had more work done to it as some of you know from last winter so now I've got a little time I thought I'd update it a little to where we are right now !!
After last year I had some problems with the car engine and body turbos etc as last year was really put down as a teething year to let things settle I decided to change some things that I wasn't happy with mainly the exhaust side of things so I made my self new down pipes and manifolds nice and neat log type !

So having near on finished that I set my sights on the next bit ! The interior
My red leather had been in now for about 5-6 years now it needed freshening up but I didn't want to stay with the same type of seats
So I sold my red leather set and started collection new parts and this is what I got
[/[URL=http://s924.photobucket.com/user/Rossco ... f.jpg.html]
I thought these might be to expensive for me to get or to modern but I managed to find a set from a wrote off focus Rs
So I got them the rails did need modifying to fit as there narrower than e30 rails but wasn't a problem
Then the rear I didn't want a normal rear seat it had to be an m3 one took me months to finally source one but I didn't and wasn't cheap lol not got pics of that at the moment I'll add some later
To cut a long story short they went of for trimming to lg trimming in Enfield north London and done a pukka job a‘aaaaa‘aaaa

He also did the dash center consol and door cards for me too

It certainly has the desired effect maybe not to everyone's tastes but I love it
