@eko thanks for the pic..it looks mint..like mr bmw put it in himself :D

how many wires did you connect to the E30 Plug from the e34 harness? Did you just put heat shrink over the spare wires from e34 loom?

i want mine to look like that :D but i somehow doubt it :o:

Cant remember exactly how many wires,11 i think?
Spare wires i cut at slitghly different lengths, heatshrink on the end of each one then bundled them all together and heatshrink again, just to eliminate and damp getting in!

Heres a better pic.
Think if you make an adapter you will not be able to get it as neat looking, theyll be just to much excess wiring?

@ m-dtech..thats just too much work me thinks. But fairplay

@Eko 11 wires is not bad at all, not too much to go wrong like.My m5 mounts and e21 gearbox mounts arrrived 2 days ago and i have engine sorted just waiting for the fella to take it out so i can collect it.Then my poor E30 will be going under the knife.

ps i like the air filter box..very original looking engine bay, top job

Notice that the air meter is actualy inside the top of the air box.
This is the same set up as I have, but I couldn't quite leave room for the integrated radiator tank, so I stayed with the wing mounted one.
I also found that the best mounting bracket for this box was the 316/318 type.
